📋 Additional Rules
Balance starts at $0 and grows from trading profit. Payout eligibility: 3 trading days with at least 1 trade each, largest single day at or below 40% of total net profit. Payout up to 50% of balance, capped at $3,000/request ($6,000 if you opted into a Daily Loss Limit). After each payout, Maximum Loss Limit resets to $0 permanently, consistency resets, and the 3-day count restarts. Live Funded Account is the eventual goal (uncapped payouts) but is not modeled here - Topstep calls up traders after consistent XFA performance.
Things to Remember
- Consistency tracking on your dashboard only appears once you have positive net profit — if you’re negative, build profit first before you’ll even see your percentage.
- Your consistency calculation fully resets after every payout, starting the day AFTER you request it — profit made on the request day itself doesn’t carry into the new window, even if it happened after you submitted the request.
- The 40% threshold is not rounded — 40.1% does not qualify, so leave yourself margin rather than cutting it exactly at the line.
- The Combine’s own 50% consistency rule (a different, separate rule) isn’t a hard fail — exceeding it just raises your Profit Target rather than failing you outright.
- The Combine charges a recurring monthly subscription, not a one-time fee.
- Adding a Daily Loss Limit at checkout is optional but doubles your per-request payout cap to $6,000 (limited-time offer).
- You need only 3 trading days here (vs 5 for Standard) but must actively place at least one trade on each of those days — simply holding a position from a prior day doesn’t count as trading that day.
FAQ
- How is Consistency % calculated?
- Largest single-day net profit ÷ total net profit. It must be 40% or below to request a payout.
- What if my consistency is above 40%?
- Keep trading — as your total net profit grows relative to your largest day, the percentage naturally comes down.
- Does a losing day help my consistency ratio?
- Not directly — the ratio depends on total net profit and your largest winning day, not on days that lost money.
