FundedNext says it paid out more than $5.4 million in performance rewards in a single week. The 1 October post on the firm’s official account covers FundedNext and FundedNext Futures together. It does not say which week, and it does not split the number.
That is the whole announcement. No trader count, no largest payout, no futures-only figure. The line is “Over $5.4M+ in Performance Rewards disbursed in just one week across @FundedNext and @fnfutures.”
Independent on-chain tracking is a different cut of the same firm. Payout Junction’s board for 28 September to 4 October, still in progress on 3 October, had FundedNext at $4,203,097 across 3,399 verified payouts, second only to Tradeify. That is not the same window as FundedNext’s post, and it only counts Rise and direct crypto. The two numbers can both be real. They are not the same measurement.
FundedNext has been widening how traders get paid. Card payouts for traders with a saved card landed in late September. Stellar 2-Step and Stellar Lite still offer a choice of standard, three-day, and on-demand reward structures, with the split moving as the schedule gets faster. Futures rules are on the FundedNext Futures page, including the 5:1 risk-reward cap the firm put back on challenge terms.
A combined CFD-plus-futures headline is useful as a scale check. It is a weak input if you are deciding whether the futures desk pays. Card and bank rails will not show up in an on-chain ranking, and a week that is not dated cannot be lined up against a competitor’s calendar.
Our Take: Take the $5.4 million as the firm’s own claim, not as a futures payout rate. The missing split is the part that matters. Until FundedNext separates the futures number, this post tells you the group is paying at size, and not much else.
