Reserve is Blue Guardian’s single-step evaluation: pass it and you’re funded, no second phase to grind through. This is the no-limit version — trade any hour, any size within your contract cap, and only the trailing drawdown can end your account. You pay a bit more for that freedom.
Key Facts

📈 Scaling Rules
Starts at the same 2 minis / 20 micros as your evaluation and scales up progressively from there as your funded balance grows; Blue Guardian doesn't publish the exact schedule
📋 Additional Rules
No consistency rule applies once funded — that only applies during the evaluation. To request a payout, complete at least 5 winning days at a minimum $100 profit each; days don't need to be consecutive and the counter resets after every approved payout. Payout cap stays 50% of profit, up to $1,000 per request. For accounts purchased on or after July 27, 2026, payouts 2 through 5 also require $500 net profit (profit minus losses) since your last approved payout. Drawdown locks for good at $25,100 (starting balance + $100) once you take your first payout.
Things to Remember
- The trailing drawdown moves with your peak balance until you hit the profit target — after that it locks, so a strong opening run buys you real breathing room later.
- There’s no daily cap here, which means a single bad session can eat through a big chunk of your $1,000 drawdown in one sitting — the flexibility cuts both ways.
- Buying more than one account at once drops the price fast: 30% off for two, up to 50% off for five.
- Passing as a FundedTruth trader gets you a second evaluation account free — worth factoring into the real cost before you compare this to a cheaper firm elsewhere.
- If you breach after going funded, reactivating costs $300 and you only get two shots at it before that account’s done for good.
FAQ
- Why is this more expensive than the Daily Loss Limit version?
- You’re paying for flexibility. No DLL means no soft-breach warning stopping you mid-session — you can trade through news or a rough patch without an automatic timeout, but the trailing drawdown is your only backstop.
- What happens if I breach the evaluation?
- You can reset for $75 and start the challenge again with the same rules.
- Do I need a minimum number of trading days to pass?
- No — Reserve doesn’t set a minimum, so hitting the $1,500 target on day one still passes you.
