Things to Remember

  • The Daily Loss Limit on Growth is SOFT — hitting it auto-closes your open positions but your account stays active and resumes the next trading day. This is a real advantage over FTMO’s Pro tier, where DLL is a hard breach.
  • Billing continues monthly even if your account is breached — you need to actively cancel, it doesn’t stop automatically.
  • The trading day runs 6:00pm-4:10pm ET, not a standard midnight-to-midnight window — worth checking if this affects your usual session times.
  • On Sim-Funded, only 50% of profit above your starting capital is withdrawable — the rest stays in the account. This is a meaningful difference from FTMO Pro, where 100% is withdrawable.
  • Each payout request requires at least 50% new profit since your last one, on top of the 4 Qualifying Days requirement.
  • You can run up to 3 concurrent Sim-Funded accounts at once.
  • There’s no Profit Target or Consistency Rule once you’re Sim-Funded — the 40% consistency rule only applies during the evaluation.

FAQ

What happens if I hit the Daily Loss Limit?
Your open positions are auto-closed for the day, but the account stays active and resumes trading the next session — it’s a soft breach, not a fail.
Do I keep paying if my evaluation account breaches the drawdown?
Yes — monthly billing continues until you cancel, even after a breach.
How much of my profit can I actually withdraw once funded?
Up to 50% of the profit earned above your starting capital, subject to the $2,500 per-request cap and Qualifying Days requirement.

I’ve been trading for over 5 years, mainly across Indian markets, futures, forex, crypto, and CFDs. Over the years, I’ve traded with a lot of different brokers and prop firms and spent a huge amount of time testing their rules, platforms, pricing, drawdown models, payout systems, and trading conditions.

I’ve been through plenty of failed prop firm challenges myself before eventually figuring out what works for me. That experience has given me a pretty practical understanding of what traders actually deal with when choosing a prop firm or trading platform.

Outside of trading, I work with financial content, SEO, and WordPress. I’ve built websites and tools around trading and finance, tested a wide range of trading tools, and even modified Pine Script indicators on TradingView as a hobby.

I write about prop firms, brokers, crypto platforms, and trading tools with a focus on the things that actually matter to traders, including rules, costs, payouts, and the overall trading experience.
