📋 Additional Rules
Balance starts at $0 and grows from trading profit. Payout eligibility: 5 winning days of $150+ (non-consecutive), plus positive net profit since your last payout (first payout exempt). Payout up to 50% of balance, capped at $2,000/request ($4,000 if you opted into a Daily Loss Limit). After each payout, Maximum Loss Limit resets to $0 permanently and your 5-day count restarts. Live Funded Account is the eventual goal (uncapped payouts) but is not modeled here - Topstep calls up traders after consistent XFA performance.
Things to Remember
- The Combine’s 55% consistency rule isn’t a hard fail — if your best day exceeds 55% of your Profit Target, your Profit Target simply increases and you need to earn more to pass. Losses do NOT reset your best day, and consistency is checked regardless of your current account balance.
- You can technically pass the Combine in as few as 2 days, as long as no single day exceeds 55% of your total profit.
- The Combine charges a recurring monthly subscription, not a one-time fee — unlike most other evaluations you’ve been comparing.
- After every XFA payout, your Maximum Loss Limit resets to $0 (not back to a locked drawdown level like other firms) and your 5-winning-day count restarts from scratch.
- The trading day you request a payout on doesn’t count toward your next 5 winning days — plan your request timing accordingly.
- Adding a Daily Loss Limit at checkout is optional but doubles your per-request payout cap to $4,000 (limited-time offer) — worth considering if you want faster payouts.
- You can hold up to 5 active XFAs at once, so this $50K account doesn’t block you from running others simultaneously.
FAQ
- Is the Combine a one-time purchase?
- No — it’s a monthly subscription until you pass or cancel.
- What happens if I don’t add a Daily Loss Limit?
- Nothing negative — your payout cap just stays at the standard $2,000/request instead of doubling to $4,000.
- Can I switch to the Consistency path later?
- You choose your payout path (Standard or Consistency) when you activate your XFA — it’s tied to that funded account, not something you can toggle afterward.
