No drama. No emotional bias. Just straight talk like I always do.
Who Is Blueberry Funded For?
Blueberry Funded is a pretty average prop firm in today’s competitive market.
Not bad. Not amazing. Just average.
And in 2026, average isn’t enough when traders have strong alternatives.
The Recommended Plan – Two Step Prime
If you’re considering them, the only plan I’d seriously look at is:
Two Step Prime
Why?
- Allows martingale
- Allows news trading
That alone makes it stand out compared to many strict CFD firms.
But here’s the part you must understand:
News Trading – Read the Fine Print
Yes, they allow news trading.
But to what extent?
That’s where traders get caught.
Any firm can:
- Modify news rules
- Add slippage clauses
- Add execution filters
- Interpret volatility breaches differently
So if you’re planning heavy news trading, read the fine print every single time before you trade major events.
Don’t assume it’s permanently flexible.
The Reality – There Are Stronger Alternatives
I’ll be blunt.
Unless you specifically need martingale flexibility, you’re better off with:
- The5ers for structured growth
- FXIFY (large single accounts & strong crypto segment)
- FTMO for stability and legacy reputation
Depending on your trading style, capital needs, and rule preference.
I don’t have any problem with Blueberry Funded’s structure.
It’s just that other firms are more attractive right now in terms of:
- Scaling
- Rule clarity
- Industry reputation
- Overall flexibility
One Important Historical Point
They were one of the first broker-backed prop firms.
That gave them early credibility.
And yes — they pay.
There’s no major pattern of payout denial from what I’ve seen.
Strict Rule Enforcement
They are strict.
Very strict.
If you breach, you breach.
No emotional exceptions.
Now I’ll say something positive.
After I failed a stage, they actually gave me a free retry.
That’s rare.
That was a professional move from their side.
Credit where it’s due.
Current Issues – Transparency & Reviews
Recently, they’ve had some noise around:
- Rule clarity
- Interpretation of violations
More importantly:
Their Trustpilot page currently shows a violation detected / breached warning regarding review authenticity.
That’s not something to ignore.
It doesn’t automatically mean scam.
But it does affect perception and trust.
And in prop firms, perception matters a lot.
My Current Take
If you:
- Trade martingale
- Need news trading flexibility
- Are confident managing strict rule enforcement
Then yes, Two Step Prime could work for you.
But if you’re a standard trader?
Honestly, I’d currently lean toward stronger structured firms like FXIFY, FTMO, or The5ers depending on your style.
Final Verdict
They pay.
They are strict.
They were early in the broker-backed model.
They gave me a retry when I failed.
But right now?
They’re average in a market where average isn’t enough.
If you’re doing martingale — consider them.
If not — better options exist.
