HyroTrader is a crypto prop firm where you trade perpetual futures on Bybit, BloFin or its own terminal and get paid in USDT or USDC. Everything runs on simulated accounts fed by real exchange prices, so there's no real capital at any stage. You pay a challenge deposit, hit a profit target, and keep 80% of the profit on a funded account, with the split able to reach 90%. The rules are mostly simple percentages. The one worth understanding before you buy is the profit distribution rule, which caps how much a single day can count toward your target.

  1. Pick a model first, then a size. Zero-Step, One-Step and Two-Step trade drawdown room against profit target and cost, so the model matters more than the size.
  2. The challenge deposit on One-Step and Two-Step is refunded with your first payout. The Zero-Step fee is not refundable once you activate the challenge.
  3. The daily loss limit is static and resets at 00:00 UTC. Your floor doesn't rise when you're in profit.
  4. During the evaluation, no single trading day can count for more than 40% of your profit target on One-Step and Two-Step. Extra profit stays in the account but doesn't count toward the target.
  5. Funded accounts cap your margin at 25% of the starting balance and your open position value at 2x the starting balance. You get one warning on each, then the funded stage fails.

Which Model Should You Pick?

Model Profit Target Daily Loss Max Loss Minimum Days Tradeoff
Two-Step 10% then 5% 5% 10% 5 per phase Cheapest and the most room to be wrong, but you have to pass two phases
One-Step 10% 4% 6% 5 One phase and a refundable deposit, but a single 4% day uses most of your 6% total room
Zero-Step 10% 3% 5% 1 Fastest route to funding, but the fee isn't refundable, the split stays at 80% and no single trade can count for more than 50% of the target

If you trade with small, steady risk, Two-Step gives you the most breathing room for the lowest price. If you'd rather pass once and be done, One-Step is the shorter road, and you should size your trades as if your real limit is a lot tighter than 6%. Zero-Step is built for people who can hit 10% quickly without leaning on one trade.

How You Get Paid

Pass the evaluation and you get a funded account. You can request your first payout as soon as the account is in profit, as long as you have at least $100 of profit after the split. Payouts go out in USDT or USDC within 24 hours with no withdrawal fees, and you need to close all your positions first. Funded accounts don't have the profit distribution rule, so the strict part of the rulebook is behind you once you're funded.

Things Worth Knowing Before You Buy

The accounts are simulated, and a payout is a share of simulated trading results, not a share of real capital. HyroTrader says its revenue comes from challenge fees and that many traders don't pass, so treat the evaluation as a real risk test.

The raise from 80% to 90% isn't automatic. HyroTrader decides it, and you have to ask support for a scaling review. Accounts are also reviewed by hand, and trading that looks like gambling can lead to removed profits, a reduced split, a rejected withdrawal or a closed account. Add the 30 day inactivity rule and the low-cap altcoin cap of 5% of your balance, and it's clear this isn't a firm where you can trade without reading the rules first.
