Apex Trader Funding is running a short 5-year anniversary flash sale that puts selected Legacy evaluations at $21 and keeps the familiar deep discounts on the rest of the lineup.
Key facts
The firm’s official X account posted the details this morning. For the next 48 hours only, 100K, 250K and 300K Legacy evaluations are $21. Legacy evaluations also carry 90% off the first month and 80% off recurring months. Intraday and EOD evaluations are 90% off. Performance Account activations are $90 for Legacy and EOD, $59 for Intraday. The whole package ends Tuesday 29 September at 11:59 PM ET. Apex called it the first drop of a series of anniversary sales.
Legacy accounts sit on the older ruleset (monthly billing, different contract and consistency terms) that Apex largely replaced with its March 2026 “4.0” one-time-fee products. The firm has periodically reopened limited Legacy sales; this one is framed around the 2021 founding anniversary. See our earlier coverage of the prior 90/90/90 window here.
What it means for traders
If you specifically want a Legacy-sized account (especially the larger 250K/300K sizes that are no longer in the standard catalogue), the $21 price is the lowest public figure Apex has shown for those tiers. The rest of the discounts match the deep 90% off windows Apex has run repeatedly this year, so the everyday Intraday/EOD pricing is not new. Activation fees are reduced but still present on the standard path.
Our Take
Apex’s near-permanent heavy discounting makes list prices largely theoretical, and this sale continues that pattern. The genuine novelty is the $21 Legacy pricing on the bigger sizes for a very short window. Traders who prefer the older ruleset or need the higher contract capacity of the larger Legacy accounts have a clear, time-limited reason to look. Everyone else is looking at the same 90% off math that has been available for weeks.
