Alpha Capital Group is a UK-branded forex and CFD prop firm that sells instant qualified accounts, 1-step evaluations and 2-step evaluations, with on-demand payouts on all of them. You trade a simulated account on MetaTrader 5, cTrader, DX Trade or TradeLocker, and a passed evaluation becomes a Qualified Analyst account that earns a performance fee. The range is wide and the rules change a lot from plan to plan, so it's worth picking the plan before the size. Prices start at $27 for a $5,000 Alpha Pro 6% evaluation, or $30 for a $2,500 Alpha Direct account.

  1. Payouts are on demand, but they're gated by a best-day rule. On One, Pro and Swing your best day can be at most 40% of total profit, and on Alpha Direct it's 15%.
  2. The 2-minute rule matters. Your average trade has to run longer than 2 minutes, and at least half your profit has to come from trades that did.
  3. Qualified accounts have a max risk rule. Open drawdown on any single asset can't reach 3% on small accounts or 2% on $50K and up, and Alpha Direct is 1% from your first trade.
  4. News trading has a 5-minute blackout on both sides of a release, on the affected instrument. Swing is looser, with a 4-minute window.
  5. Every account closes after 30 days without trading, and the 90% split and swap-free add-ons can only be bought at checkout.

Which Plan Should You Pick?

Plan Steps and Target Drawdown Daily Loss Sizes
Alpha Direct Instant, 90% split 5% trailing 3% $2.5K to $200K
Alpha One 6% 1 step, 6% 4% trailing 3%, then 4% qualified $5K to $200K
Alpha One 10% 1 step, 10% 6% trailing 4% $5K to $200K
Alpha One 12% 1 step, 12% 8% trailing 5% $5K to $100K
Alpha Pro 6% 2 steps, 6% and 6% 6% static 3% $5K to $200K
Alpha Pro 8% 2 steps, 8% and 5% 8% static 4% $5K to $200K
Alpha Pro 10% 2 steps, 10% and 5% 10% static 5% $5K to $200K
Alpha Swing 2 steps, 10% and 5% 10% static 5% $5K to $200K

Think of it as a ladder of room versus effort. Alpha One 6% is the quickest way through, a single 6% target with one minimum day, but the 4% drawdown trails your balance up and is the tightest evaluation. Moving up to One 10% or 12% buys more drawdown, and a bigger target to hit. The Pro tiers swap the trailing floor for a fixed one and add a second phase. Pro 10% gives you the most room at 10%, though the first phase needs a 10% gain, while Pro 6% is cheapest but has the thinnest floor. Swing has the same limits as Pro 10%, costs more, and earns it by letting you hold through weekends on the qualified account and trade closer to news.

Alpha Direct skips the evaluation and pays 90%, but it has the strictest rules on the site, with a 1% max risk per asset from the first trade, a 15% best-day rule, no weekend holding and no EAs.

$200,000 $897 $647 $947 n/a $797 $997 $897 $1,097

These are one-time fees at the on-demand price. The 90% split add-on costs about 10% extra and swap-free about 10%, and both have to be picked at purchase.

How You Get Paid

You ask for a payout when you're ready. On Pro, Swing and One you need at least 2% gross profit on the balance and a best day under 40% of your total profit, and the split is 80%, or 90% with the add-on. On Alpha Direct you first build a 3% buffer that stays in the account, then you take profit above it, with a 90% split. A partial withdrawal resets your consistency score, but the next trade you take opens a fresh window.

Things Worth Knowing Before You Buy

All accounts are simulated, and the firm says its environment is powered by its sister company ACG Markets. Total allocation is capped at $400,000 across all plans. On a trailing drawdown plan, once your floor locks at the starting balance, withdrawing every dollar of profit pays out but closes the account, so leave a buffer. The firm also runs Alpha Prime, a live trading program in London for traders who reach $40,000 on a single payout, five payouts or $100,000 in lifetime payouts, with a 60% split and a $10,000 static account. It doesn't serve a list of countries including Russia, Iran, Belarus, Venezuela and Vietnam.
