TakeProfitTrader is a futures prop firm founded in March 2021 by CEO James Sixsmith, based in Orlando, FL. It runs a single, straightforward path - a 1-step Test into a funded PRO account - across five sizes from $25,000 to $150,000, with a track record for some of the most trader-friendly payout terms in the space: no payout window, no minimum profitable days, and no maximum withdrawal cap once you clear the buffer.

- There's no daily loss limit, ever. Not in the Test, not once funded. The only thing that can end your account is the Maximum Trailing Drawdown.
- The drawdown type changes when you get funded. EOD trailing during the Test (only your daily close matters), switching to intraday trailing on PRO (follows your live balance in real time). Both lock permanently once they reach your starting balance.
- The consistency rule only exists during the Test. Break the 50% rule and your target just goes up (best day x 2) - you're not failed. Once funded, there's no consistency rule at all.
- Payouts on PRO are unusually open. No fixed withdrawal window, no minimum profitable days, no dollar cap - just clear the buffer zone (starting balance + drawdown) and withdraw any day.
- PRO+ is an invite, not a purchase. Consistent PRO performance can earn a move to a live, $0-margin account with a 90/10 split and no buffer requirement.
