FundingPips published a multi-model update on 27 September 2026. New purchases lose three of the firm’s best-known risk limits. Existing active accounts keep the old rulebook.
Key facts
- Removed on eval and Master for 1-Step Flex, 2-Step Standard, 2-Step Flex, and 2-Step Pro: Risk Per Trade Idea, the Striking System, and Profit Concentration
- Minimum trading days: 0 on 1-Step Flex and 2-Step Pro, 0 on 2-Step Standard with the 3% daily-loss option, 3 days on 2-Step Standard with the 5% option, 1 day on 2-Step Flex
- Daily-loss options: 1-Step Flex 2% default or 3%; 2-Step Standard 3% default or 5%
- Reward split advertised up to 100% on those models (not ZERO)
- Swing add-on on Master unlocks weekday overnight and weekend holding. Without it, Master positions auto-close on a fixed UTC window
- PRIME is invite-only. Max loss is static 8%. Soft daily loss is 3%. Size uses a 12.5x multiplier on profit after the reward split. Eval and Master accounts close when PRIME opens
The firm is a CFD/forex shop, not a futures house. The change still matters in this desk’s coverage because FundingPips is a high-volume on-chain payer (it sat fifth on Payout Junction’s in-progress week of 28 September with about $295k verified when we checked the 29 September snapshot).
What it means for traders: if you buy after the go-live date, you can size a single idea without the old concentration and strike counters. That is looser on paper. Same-day Master on the 0-day models also means the firm is selling speed. Read the swing add-on before you assume you can hold a position into the weekend. Existing accounts do not get the looser rules for free.
Our Take: Removing three tripwires and cutting minimum days is a sales-cycle move as much as a trader-friendly rewrite. PRIME getting locked behind an invite, with static loss and a forced close of other accounts, is the tighter side of the same update. Confirm the checkout terms on the account you actually buy. Do not rely on a friend’s older FAQ.
