Payout Methods
Breakout is a crypto prop firm where you trade perpetual futures on its own terminal or on DXTrade, and get paid in USDC. Kraken bought it in September 2025. Every account is simulated, so there's no real capital at any stage, and funded accounts and payouts run through Payward Oceanic, Ltd. The rulebook is cleaner than most. Every plan on sale is one step, the drawdown is static, and there's no consistency rule, no minimum trading days and no time limit. The catch is that the fee is never refunded and there's no reset if you fail.

- Pick a variant first, then a size. Classic, Pro and Turbo trade profit target against drawdown room, and the price follows the room you get. Spark is a separate $50K product.
- All three 1-Step variants share a 3% daily loss limit. It's 3% of your balance at 00:30 UTC each day, so it moves with your balance and isn't a fixed dollar figure.
- The max drawdown is static. It's set from your starting balance and never rises with your profit.
- The evaluation fee is one-time and never refunded. There's no reset, and a breach means buying a new evaluation.
- Payouts are on demand from $50 after the split, in USDC on Ethereum. The standard split is 80%, and the 90% upgrade only exists at checkout.
Which Variant Should You Pick?
| Variant | Profit Target | Max Drawdown | Daily Loss | Sizes | Tradeoff |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Classic | 10% | 6% | 3% | $5K to $100K | The most room for the target and the most expensive, with no $200K size |
| Pro | 12% | 5% | 3% | $5K to $200K | The highest target of the three, priced between Classic and Turbo |
| Turbo | 9% | 3% | 3% | $5K to $200K | The cheapest by a wide margin, but a 3% floor against a 9% target is tight |
| Spark | $3,000 on $50K | $1,500 trailing | None | $50K only | No daily loss limit and higher leverage on indices, but the loss limit trails your highest closed balance and only the first 1,500 accounts are on offer |
If you want the easiest road to the target, Classic gives you the most room. If you care more about price, Turbo is the cheapest way in, but buy the plan whose drawdown you can actually trade rather than the one with the lowest fee.
Pricing by Size
| Size | Turbo | Pro | Classic |
|---|---|---|---|
| $5,000 | $20 | $33 | $45 |
| $10,000 | $40 | $65 | $85 |
| $25,000 | $95 | $150 | $215 |
| $50,000 | $180 | $280 | $400 |
| $100,000 | $330 | $545 | $800 |
| $200,000 | $660 | $1,090 | Not offered |
The 90% profit split upgrade adds 20% to the fee and has to be bought with the account. The old 2-Step evaluation isn't sold anymore.
How You Get Paid
Pass the target without breaching either limit, then complete KYC and sign the Funded Trader Agreement, and you're funded at the same size. Payouts are on demand, 24/7, with a $50 minimum after the split and no minimum trading days. Approval takes up to 12 to 24 hours and is usually quicker. They're paid in USDC on the Ethereum network, which is the only payout method. Funded capital is capped at $200,000 across all your accounts.
Things Worth Knowing Before You Buy
Breakout's own terms say a funded order may be recorded internally with a hypothetical result instead of being sent to an exchange, and you can't tell which happened on any given order. Fees are never refunded, there's no reset, and the daily loss limit resets at 00:30 UTC, which falls mid-session for traders in Asia.
Leverage is low on most altcoins at 2x to 3x, and only BTC and the two indices reach 10x. There's no MetaTrader. There's also no scaling ladder, so growing past $200,000 isn't on the table.
