Every prop firm challenge comes down to the same question before you risk a single trade: given my edge, how many days will this actually take, and what could blow it up along the way? The Payout Pass Visualizer answers both at once. Enter your account size, dollar target, risk per trade, win rate, and reward:risk, and it plays the challenge forward one trading day at a time on a real P&L-style calendar: green days, red days, the exact day you’d hit your target, and (if you’re not careful) the exact day a drawdown breach would end it.

P&L Calendar
How the Simulation Works
Everything runs off dollar amounts, not percentages. Enter your target and your risk per trade the way your firm actually states them (e.g. a $3,000 target on a $50,000 account means the pass finishes at a $53,000 balance). From there the simulator plays out one trade per active trading day starting today: a win adds your risk times reward:risk, a loss subtracts your risk per trade, based on the win rate you set. The path is generated by a seeded random sequence, so the same inputs always produce the same calendar on a given day instead of reshuffling every time you press the button.
EOD vs. Intraday Drawdown Mode
Set a max drawdown in dollars and the simulator tracks your equity high-water mark against it, exactly like a real evaluation. The Drawdown mode switch decides how strictly that limit gets checked. EOD mode only compares your limit to your balance at the close of each day: the same rule most firms actually enforce, and the same logic used in our DD Lock Visualizer. Intraday mode is stricter. It assumes every single trade dips a full risk amount against you before it either stops out or turns into a win, so a drawdown breach can trigger on a day that would otherwise have closed green. If a breach happens, the pass stops right there. That day renders as a bright red card with a warning icon, and the summary switches to a “Breached” status showing exactly which trading day it happened on.
How to Use It
- Enter your account size and your target in dollars: the exact figure your firm states, not a percentage.
- Set your risk per trade in dollars, your win rate, and your reward:risk ratio.
- Turn on Max drawdown allowed and enter your firm’s dollar limit, then pick EOD or Intraday mode depending on how strict you want the check to be.
- Toggle off any days you don’t trade in the Trading days row. Saturday and Sunday are off by default.
- Hit Run simulation to generate the calendar and the stats row above it (trading days to target, green/red day counts, final balance, max drawdown seen, and status).
- If your firm has a consistency rule, leave it checked and drag the slider. Flagged days and the flag count update live on the calendar as you move it, no re-run needed.
- Use the Month and Year dropdowns above the calendar to browse forward through the full simulated path.
- Change any other input (account size, target, risk, win rate, R:R, drawdown settings, or trading days) and hit Run again to see a new path. Those redraw the whole simulation rather than updating live.
