What Makes a Plan “Flex”
Flex is a specific plan structure, not just a brand name, though a few firms literally call it that (FundedNext Flex, Tradeify’s Flex payout policy, LucidFlex). The shape is the same everywhere it shows up: a short evaluation you can clear in as few as 2 or 3 trading days, then once you’re funded, you need 5 profitable trading days before your first payout, capped at roughly 50% of your total profit per withdrawal. Compare that to a Combine-style monthly subscription or a straight-to-funded Direct account and it’s a different animal. Below is every $50K Flex-structured plan we track, ranked by current price.
Ranked by Price
| Rank | Firm / Plan | Account / Variant | Price | Fee Type |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | FundedNext Flex 50K | Flex 50K | $69.99 | One-time |
| 2 | Blue Guardian Reserve 50K | 40% Consistency, $1,200 DLL | $75.00 | One-time |
| 3 | Blue Guardian 50K | With DLL | $85.00 | One-time |
| 4 | Topstep Combine 50K | Standard / Consistency | $85.00 | Monthly |
| 5 | LucidFlex 50K | $1,200 DLL | $90.00 | One-time |
| 6 | Tradeify Select 50K | Flex / Daily | $99.00 | One-time |
| 7 | LucidFlex 50K | DLL Off | $105.00 | One-time |
| 8 | Blue Guardian Reserve 50K | 40% Consistency, No DLL | $114.00 | One-time |
| 9 | Blue Guardian Reserve 50K | 50% Consistency, No DLL | $116.00 | One-time |
Topstep doesn’t market its Combine as “Flex,” but the 2-day minimum pass and 5-winning-day funded payout structure line up closely enough to include it here, just remember it’s billed monthly, not as a one-time fee.
1. FundedNext Flex 50K, $69.99
| Profit target | $2,500 |
| Max Loss Limit | $1,500 (EOD trailing) |
| Daily Loss Limit | None |
| Consistency rule | 40%, Challenge only, doesn’t fail you outright, just raises your target |
| Funded payout | 5 benchmark days ($200+ each), up to 50% of profit, capped at $1,500/request |
This is the cheapest 50K on the market right now, and it’s not a stripped-down plan to get there. $2,500 is the lowest profit target of anything on this list by a wide margin, there’s no daily loss limit on either stage, and 95% is the best reward split FundedNext Futures offers. The trade-off is that 40% consistency rule during the Challenge: post one oversized day and your total target gets recalculated upward instead of failing you outright, so a $1,500 day pushes you from $2,500 to $3,750. See the full FundedNext Flex 50K page, or the FundedNext Futures overview for how Flex compares to Legacy and Rapid.
2. Blue Guardian Reserve 50K, 40% Consistency, $1,200 DLL, $75.00
| Profit target | $3,000 |
| Max Loss Limit | $2,000 (EOD trailing) |
| Daily Loss Limit | $1,200, soft breach |
| Consistency rule | 40%, minimum 3 trading days to pass |
| Funded payout | Instant after 5 winning days, up to 50% of profit per request |
Just ten dollars behind Blue Guardian’s own $85 option below, and the profit target and drawdown are both bigger here than FundedNext’s, $3,000 against $2,000 of room instead of $2,500 against $1,500. The catch is the $1,200 Daily Loss Limit, a soft breach that locks you out for the rest of the day rather than failing the evaluation, plus a 3-day minimum before you can even pass. Full breakdown on the Blue Guardian Reserve 50K (40% Consistency, $1,200 DLL) page.
3. Blue Guardian 50K, With DLL, $85.00
| Starting balance | $50,000 |
| Daily Loss Limit | Included, soft breach |
| Structure | Short evaluation, 5 winning days required for first funded payout |
| Profit split | 90/10 |
Ten dollars more than the Reserve $1,200 DLL plan above, sitting right alongside Topstep at $85. Where Blue Guardian’s Reserve line separates its DLL and No-DLL pricing by $1,200 versus none, this one bundles a Daily Loss Limit in as a standard feature rather than a discount lever, so it suits traders who want that guardrail without shopping through Reserve’s consistency variants first. See every current Blue Guardian 50K configuration on the Blue Guardian Futures overview.
4. Topstep Combine 50K, Standard / Consistency, $85.00/month
| Profit target | $3,000 |
| Max Loss Limit | $2,000 |
| Daily Loss Limit | None by default, optional add-on |
| Consistency rule | 55%, best day can’t exceed it or the target rises, pass in as few as 2 days |
| Funded payout | 5 winning days ($150+ each), up to 50% of balance, capped at $2,000/request |
Same $85 as Blue Guardian’s DLL plan above, but this is the one plan on the list that isn’t a one-time purchase. $85 buys you a month of Combine access, not the account itself, so if you don’t pass fast, the meter keeps running. What you get for it is the loosest consistency rule here, 55% instead of 40 or 50, and you can technically pass in as few as 2 days. Adding a Daily Loss Limit at checkout is optional and doubles your funded payout cap to $4,000 a request. See the Topstep Combine 50K page for the full XFA payout rules.
5. LucidFlex 50K, $1,200 DLL, $90.00
| Profit target | $3,000 |
| Max Loss Limit | $2,000 (EOD trailing) |
| Daily Loss Limit | $1,200 option, selectable at purchase |
| Consistency rule | 50%, minimum 2 trading days, small built-in cushion |
| Funded payout | 5 trading days ($150+ each), up to 50% of profit per request |
Lucid Trading lets you choose a Daily Loss Limit at checkout, and taking it is the cheaper route: $90 with the $1,200 cap versus $105 without one. If you’re comfortable trading inside a daily boundary anyway, there’s no reason to pay the $15 premium for the DLL-off version below. Full page: LucidFlex 50K.
6. Tradeify Select 50K, Flex, $99.00
| Profit target | $3,000 |
| Max Drawdown | $2,000 (EOD trailing) |
| Daily Loss Limit | None, on evaluation or funded |
| Consistency rule | 40%, evaluation only, minimum 3 trading days |
| Funded payout | Every 5 winning days, up to 50% of total profit, capped at $3,000/payout |
This is the cheapest way on the list to get a fully DLL-free account, both evaluation and funded, since the two Blue Guardian No-DLL options below run $15 to $17 more and LucidFlex’s DLL-off variant costs $6 more. The consistency rule disappears completely once you’re funded too. See the Tradeify Select 50K Flex page, or compare it against the Daily payout version on the Tradeify overview.
7. LucidFlex 50K, DLL Off, $105.00
| Profit target | $3,000 |
| Max Loss Limit | $2,000 (EOD trailing) |
| Daily Loss Limit | None |
| Consistency rule | 50%, minimum 2 trading days, small built-in cushion |
| Funded payout | 5 trading days ($150+ each), up to 50% of profit per request |
The uncapped sibling of plan #5, $15 more for the flexibility to trade through a rough single session without an automatic daily lockout. Tradeify’s Flex plan above gets you the same no-DLL structure for $6 less, so this is really for traders who specifically want Lucid Trading’s platform lineup (NinjaTrader, Rithmic, Tradesea, MotiveWave, QuantTower) over Tradeify’s. Full page: LucidFlex 50K.
8. Blue Guardian Reserve 50K, 40% Consistency, No DLL, $114.00
| Profit target | $3,000 |
| Max Loss Limit | $2,000 (EOD trailing) |
| Daily Loss Limit | None |
| Consistency rule | 40%, minimum 3 trading days to pass |
| Bundle price | As low as $97.28/challenge on the 5-account bundle |
The No-DLL sibling of plan #2, and the $39 jump buys you exactly one thing: the ability to hold through a rough single session without an automatic lockout. With no daily cap, a bad day can chew through a real chunk of the $2,000 Max Loss Limit at once. Full page: Reserve 50K, 40% Consistency, No DLL.
9. Blue Guardian Reserve 50K, 50% Consistency, No DLL, $116.00
| Profit target | $3,000 |
| Max Loss Limit | $2,000 (EOD trailing) |
| Daily Loss Limit | None |
| Consistency rule | 50% (51% with cushion), minimum 2 trading days to pass, no time limit |
The most expensive plan on the list, and only $2 more than the 40% version right above it. What that $2 buys is a genuinely looser consistency rule and one less minimum trading day, plus no clock on the evaluation at all. Passing also nets FundedTruth traders a free second evaluation account. Details on the Reserve 50K, No DLL page.
Current Offers Worth Knowing About
Two of the firms above run a perk that doesn’t show up in the price column: a free evaluation account after your first payout. Blue Guardian Futures gives it to you starting with your very first purchase, currently capped at 2 accounts a month. FundedNext Futures runs the same kind of perk, but it only kicks in from your second purchase onward, your first account doesn’t qualify. If you’re planning to run more than one Flex challenge with either firm, that’s worth factoring into which one you buy first.
Which One Should You Actually Buy
If price alone is the deciding factor, FundedNext Flex 50K wins outright at $69.99, and you’re not giving up much for it since there’s no DLL and the consistency rule is one of the most forgiving on this list. If you want a Daily Loss Limit as a safety net rather than a restriction, Blue Guardian’s $75 Reserve plan is the best-value way to get one. If you specifically don’t want any DLL at all, Tradeify’s $99 Select Flex plan is the cheapest way there, beating both Blue Guardian’s No-DLL Reserve options and LucidFlex’s DLL-off variant. The only plan worth skipping unless you’re confident in a fast pass is Topstep’s Combine, since the monthly fee punishes anyone who needs more than a few weeks to clear it.
