FundedSeat has posted an official notice that it is closing operations. The Amsterdam-founded futures prop firm cited platform-access limits that blocked the growth it needed after two years.
The site statement, signed by COO Floba, says the firm grew to nearly $700,000 in monthly payouts but could not become a major player without access to larger trading platforms.
What the firm says it will do
- Refund all currently active accounts
- Disburse all currently pending withdrawals and positive live-account balances
- Keep support open via live chat and support@fundedseat.com
Former CMO Garrett posted separately that the close decision was not his, and that he expects the founders to settle trader commitments.
Payout Junction still shows on-chain Rise activity into 29 September. Verified on-chain totals sit around $2.63 million across roughly 2,000 transactions. That is a lower bound. It excludes any off-chain rails.
Traders should contact official support for refund and withdrawal status. Watch whether refunds and pending payouts actually clear. An announcement is not the same as settlement.
Our Take: Another mid-size futures name exits after hitting a platform and scale wall. The published refund and payout plan is the right language. Execution is what matters next.
