FundedNext Futures has put an instant account on its main futures menu. Direct is a $50,000 sim-funded account with no challenge and no profit target. The firm announced it on 7 October, and the product page was live when we read it on 8 October.
The page lists Direct next to Flex and Rapid. Checkout shows $169.99 against a crossed-out $283.99 with code FNDIRECT. That is a one-time fee. There is no evaluation to pass.
The rules on the Direct page
- Account size: $50,000 only
- Max loss: $2,000, end-of-day trailing
- Daily loss limit: $1,000, and the firm says hitting it is a soft breach, not a hard fail
- Consistency: 20%, and it stays on. The page calls it perpetual
- Size: 3 minis or 30 micros
- Reward share: 90%
- First reward window: 5 days
- Maximum withdrawal: $1,200 per cycle
- Maximum performance rewards: 5, then the account is done
Do the math before the discount does it for you. Five rewards at a $1,200 cap is $6,000 of requested profit. At 90%, that is $5,400 to the trader if every cycle hits the cap. The entry fee is $169.99 with the code. The binding constraint is not the fee. It is the cap and the five-reward ceiling.
The 20% consistency rule is the other constraint. With no profit target, the firm still decides when a withdrawal is allowed by how lumpy the profits are. A single large day can block a request until the rest of the book catches up. That is a different product from a true no-rules instant account.
FundedNext Futures also posted that a trader who already holds five active FundedNext accounts cannot add Direct until a slot opens. Direct is not a free extra on top of a full book.
This sits next to the firm’s evaluation plans on the FundedNext Futures page, not instead of a confirmed shutdown of Legacy. A third-party changelog said Legacy was pulled on 8 October. The Legacy URL was still resolving in search results as of 6 October, so we are not calling that closed until the firm says so. Flex, the plan priced with STOCT earlier this month, is still on the comparison table with a 95% share and no daily loss limit.
Our Take: Direct is a capped instant account, not a shortcut around the firm’s risk rules. If you already pass evaluations, Flex still pays a higher share and a higher per-cycle cap. Direct only makes sense if you do not want a profit target and you can live with $1,200 withdrawals and a 20% consistency rule that never turns off.
