The Windfall Strategy Rule Is Being Removed — August 26, 2026

We've listened carefully to your feedback, and effective immediately, we're removing the Windfall Strategy Rule on Futures. The rule was introduced last month to discourage gambling-style trading and promote responsible risk management. However, we recognize that it wasn't communicated with the clarity and transparency you deserve. Only a small number of traders have been affected by the rule since its introduction, but even one unclear rule is one too many.

Going forward, the Windfall Strategy Rule will no longer form part of our trading rules. We're committed to making our rules clearer, fairer, and easier to understand, and to continuing to improve based on the feedback of our trading community.
