Blue Guardian Futures Payout Policy Explained

Every funded model at Blue Guardian pays out differently. Some cap you by request, some cap you by day, some need a buffer cleared first and some don't. Here's how it actually breaks down, account by account, plus the rules that apply no matter which model you're on.

How Payouts Affect Your Drawdown

Every time you take a payout, your drawdown floor locks in place so you can't withdraw your account down to the breach level. The floor becomes your starting balance plus $100, permanently, from that point on.

Account SizeLocked Drawdown Floor
$25,000$25,100
$50,000$50,100
$100,000$100,100
$150,000$150,100

Standard Account

Built for traders who want their payout ceiling to grow over time. The first payout is smaller, every payout after that is bigger.

Payout Caps

Account Size1st Payout Cap2nd+ Payout Cap
$25,000$1,500$2,000
$50,000$2,500$3,000
$100,000$3,000$3,500
$150,000$4,000$4,500

Funded Buffer

Your balance has to clear this amount above your starting balance before you can request anything. Only the profit above the buffer is available to withdraw.

Account SizeBuffer Required
$25,000$1,600
$50,000$2,100
$100,000$3,600
$150,000$5,100

What you need to qualify: hit the payout target, keep your balance above the buffer, and wait until 3 days after your first trade before the first payout is even available.

Reserve Account

No buffer requirement at all. Instead, eligibility runs on winning days.

Payout Caps

Account SizeCap Per Request
$25,00050% of profit, up to $1,000
$50,00050% of profit, up to $2,000
$100,00050% of profit, up to $2,500
$150,00050% of profit, up to $3,000

Winning Day Requirement

Account SizeMinimum Winning Day
$25,000$100
$50,000$150
$100,000$200
$150,000$250

What you need to qualify: complete at least 5 winning days at or above the minimum for your account size. No buffer to clear. Once you get paid, the winning-day count resets and you start building toward the next one from zero.

Express Account

The daily-cash-flow model. You can request a payout every day, but it's capped per day rather than per request.

Max Daily Payout

Account SizeDaily Payout Cap
$25,000$550
$50,000$1,100
$100,000$2,200
$150,000$3,300

Funded Buffer

Same idea as Standard: only profit above this amount is available to pull out.

Account SizeBuffer Required
$25,000$1,600
$50,000$2,100
$100,000$3,600
$150,000$5,100

What you need to qualify: keep your balance above the buffer, and you're eligible for an instant payout once you clear it, subject to the daily cap.

Direct Account

No evaluation, and no buffer either. You're funded from day one and paid based on hitting profit goals.

Payout Caps

Account SizePayouts 1-3Payouts 4+
$25,000$1,000$1,000
$50,000$2,000$2,500
$100,000$2,500$3,000
$150,000$3,000$3,500

Profit Goals

This is the amount of profit you need to bank before you're allowed to request that payout.

Account Size1st Payout Goal2nd+ Goal
$25,000$1,500$1,000
$50,000$3,000$2,000
$100,000$6,000$3,500
$150,000$9,000$4,500

What you need to qualify: hit the profit goal for that payout number, and satisfy the consistency rule. No buffer to worry about.

Rules That Apply to Every Account

Profit split: every funded trader keeps 90% of profit, the firm takes 10%. On a $2,000 profit, you'd receive $1,800 and the firm keeps $200.

Payout schedule:

RuleDetails
Processing TimeWithin 24 business hours
Withdrawal MethodsRise or Crypto
Minimum Withdrawal$500 via Crypto or Rise

24-Hour Payout Guarantee: if Blue Guardian misses the 24 business hour window on their end, you get an extra 10% profit share on that payout as compensation. This doesn't apply on weekends, bank holidays, during compliance or risk reviews, or if the delay is on your side (like a pending Rise onboarding step).

Processing fee: every payout has a 3% fee taken out to cover payment processing. Whatever your payout certificate says, expect the amount that lands in your account to be about 3% lower once the fee's applied.

Quick Comparison: Which Model Fits How You Trade

If you want your payout ceiling to grow the longer you stay funded, Standard does that. If you want to skip buffer math entirely and just clear winning days, Reserve is built for that. If daily cash flow matters more to you than a large single withdrawal, Express is the one designed around that. And if you don't want to sit through an evaluation at all, Direct gets you into a funded account immediately, at the cost of a smaller payout ceiling on the $25K and $50K sizes compared to the other three
