BluSky Trading Payout Policy Explained

BluSky's payout structure differs meaningfully across its four products - how often you can request, what the cap is, and what triggers eligibility all vary. Every product pays 90% to the trader once at standard terms, except the two Instant Funding plans which have their own split rules.

Launch & Propel — Sim Funded Payouts

Size (Launch)Min PayoutCap Per 7 Days
$50,000$250$2,500
$100,000$250$3,000
$200,000$250$2,500
Size (Propel)Min PayoutCap Per 7 Days
$25,000$250$1,500
$50,000$250$2,500
$100,000$250$3,000
$150,000$250$1,500
$200,000$250$2,500
$300,000$250$3,000

What you need to qualify: clear the Buffer Zone first (see the Rules page). Once in Sim Funded, payouts are available daily Monday-Friday on any balance above your Sim Funded starting balance - no minimum trading days, no ongoing consistency rule. The 7-day cap resets on a rolling basis, not a calendar week.

Orbit — Funded Payouts

SizePayouts Unlock AtMin PayoutWeekly Cap
$50,000$52,000 balance$500$2,000
$100,000$103,000 balance$500$2,500
$150,000$154,500 balance$500$3,000
$200,000$203,000 balance$500$2,500

What you need to qualify: your balance has to clear the unlock threshold (starting balance plus drawdown amount), and you need to be within the 40% consistency rule that applies from the moment you're funded. Payout cadence is every 3 trading days rather than daily - the trade-off for Orbit's much faster, restriction-free evaluation.

Instant Funding — Payouts

PlanPayouts Unlock AtWeekly CapProfit Split
Direct to Funded $3,500Above $3,500 starting balance$3,00050% for your first 30 trading days, then 80%
Instant Sim Funded $50,000Above $53,000 balance$2,50080% from day one

What you need to qualify: both plans pay out daily Monday-Friday once above their threshold, no minimum trading days. Direct to Funded's split ramps up over your first 30 trading days (days you actually placed a trade) - budget for the lower initial split when weighing the $749 price against the $599 Instant Sim Funded plan.

Rules That Apply Across Every Product

  • Standard profit split: 90% to the trader on Launch, Propel, and Orbit. Instant Funding plans use their own split terms (see above).
  • Payout cadence: daily (Mon-Fri) on Launch, Propel, and both Instant Funding plans; every 3 trading days on Orbit specifically.
  • The Live Brokerage pathway: on Launch and Propel, clearing $10,000 in total profit triggers a review for Live Brokerage, where the payout cap is removed entirely and you're trading real capital.

Quick Comparison

Launch and Propel pay daily with no ongoing restrictions once funded, but you have to clear both an Evaluation and a Buffer Zone first. Orbit gets you funded fastest (as little as a single day) but caps you to payouts every 3 days and keeps a 40% consistency rule live the whole time you're funded. The Instant Funding plans skip evaluation entirely - Direct to Funded is cheapest to buy in dollar terms relative to its small balance but starts you at a 50% split, while Instant Sim Funded costs more upfront but pays the full 80% immediately.
