FTMO Futures Payout Policy Explained
FTMO Futures pays 90/10 on both tracks, but Growth and Pro differ sharply on how much of your profit you can actually withdraw and how often.
Growth — Sim-Funded Payouts
| Account Size | Qualifying Days Required | Min Profit/Qualifying Day | Payout Cap |
|---|---|---|---|
| $50,000 | 4 | $150 | $2,500/request |
| $100,000 | 4 | $250 | $3,000/request |
| $150,000 | 4 | $300 | $4,000/request |
What you need to qualify: 4 Qualifying Days at or above the minimum profit for your size, plus at least 50% new profit since your last payout request. Only 50% of profit above your starting capital is withdrawable on Growth — the rest stays in the account. This is the main trade-off for Growth's forgiving soft-breach Daily Loss Limit.
Pro — Sim-Funded Payouts
| Account Size | Qualifying Days Required | Min Profit/Qualifying Day | Payout Cap |
|---|---|---|---|
| $50,000 | 5 | $200 | $5,000/request |
What you need to qualify: 5 Qualifying Days (one more than Growth) at $200+ each, plus 50% new profit since your last request. In exchange for the stricter day count and threshold, 100% of profit above your starting capital is withdrawable — the full amount, not half. This is Pro's core trade-off against its hard-breach Daily Loss Limit.
Rules That Apply Across Both Tracks
- Reward share: 90/10 on both Growth and Pro.
- New profit requirement: every payout request needs at least 50% new profit since your last one, on top of the Qualifying Days requirement.
- No Profit Target or Consistency Rule once Sim-Funded — both the profit target and the consistency rule (40% Growth / 50% Pro) only apply during the evaluation. Once funded, payout eligibility is purely about Qualifying Days and new profit.
- Concurrent accounts: up to 3 Sim-Funded accounts at once, either track.
Quick Comparison: Growth vs. Pro Payouts
Growth pays out more often at a lower bar (4 days, lower thresholds), but caps your take-home at half your profit above starting capital. Pro asks for one more Qualifying Day at a higher profit threshold, but hands you the full 100% once you clear it — plus a higher dollar cap per request. If you're optimizing for how much actually lands in your pocket per payout cycle, Pro's numbers win on paper; Growth's appeal is the softer Daily Loss Limit that makes reaching those payouts less risky in the first place.
