Goat Funded Futures is highlighting new risk controls on its TradeSea platform: you can set your own risk limits and lock yourself out when you hit them. The firm posted the feature on its official X account today and noted it is available on every GFF plan.
TradeSea itself is the browser platform GFF added across all plans earlier this month. The help center confirms it runs TradingView charts, a DOM, bracket orders, and built-in risk settings, and that it comes with free L1 CME data. The anti-tilt lockout is the piece the firm is pushing now.
Key points from the official posts and help center:
- Risk limits and anti-tilt lockout available on every plan.
- You set the limits and the platform locks you out when you reach them.
- TradeSea is selectable at purchase and works as a Rithmic login.
- Includes SecureCopy for your own accounts only.
Most futures prop firms already enforce a daily loss limit or trailing drawdown on the server side. Letting the trader set a personal lockout on top of that is different. It is a tool for the moments when you know you are about to tilt, not a replacement for the firm’s rules.
For traders it is a small but practical addition if you already trade on TradeSea or are considering it. You can still use NinjaTrader, Tradovate, or the other platforms GFF supports. The lockout only helps if you actually set the limits before the session starts.
Our Take: Anti-tilt tools are useful when they are simple and sit on top of the firm’s hard rules. This one looks like that. It will not stop a bad strategy, but it can stop a bad afternoon from becoming a blown account.
