Blue Guardian Futures has increased the maximum drawdown on its Standard $150K account from $3,500 to $5,000. The change appears on the firm’s official Standard Account Rules help page.
The updated table lists Max Drawdown as $1,000 on $25K, $2,000 on $50K, $3,500 on $100K, and $5,000 on $150K. All sizes still use End-of-Day trailing. During the evaluation the limit never stops trailing. On a funded account it stops trailing once it reaches starting balance plus $100, then locks.
For the $150K size that means more room before a breach. The previous $3,500 figure left less buffer relative to the $9,000 profit target. The new $5,000 aligns the largest Standard account more closely with the percentage room seen on smaller sizes.
Blue Guardian’s page also confirms other Standard rules remain in place: soft daily loss limits on $50K and above, 40% consistency only on funded accounts, news trading allowed, and a 90% split. Payouts are available after three days, with tiered caps and a buffer that must stay in the account. You can compare the full current lineup on the FundedTruth Blue Guardian Futures page.
Traders evaluating the $150K Standard should check the help center for the exact stop-trailing balances and buffer amounts before buying.
Our Take: More drawdown on the biggest Standard account is a clear improvement for traders who size larger or need breathing room. It does not remove the EOD trailing mechanic or the funded consistency rule, so the edge still has to be consistent. Anyone comparing Blue Guardian to firms with static floors or no funded consistency should run the numbers on both the extra room and the remaining restrictions.
