Alpha Futures has launched an optional add-on that removes the consistency rule on Standard Qualified accounts. The evaluation still carries its 50% rule. The firm announced it on X and detailed it in an official post on 28 October.
Without the add-on, Standard Qualified accounts run a 40% consistency rule between performance fee requests. With the add-on, that rule disappears once you are Qualified. The add-on costs an extra $70, $90 or $110 a month depending on size ($50K, $100K, $150K) and is selected at purchase. Evaluation pricing stays the same otherwise, and the firm is also running 50% off Standard with code MYALPHA50.
The add-on does not change the evaluation. You still need to hit the profit target while keeping any single day at or under 50% of net profit during the challenge. Once Qualified, the daily loss guard, maximum loss limit, five green days, scaling plan, and payout caps ($3,000 / $4,000 / $5,000 by size) remain in place.
Alpha Futures already offers plans without a funded consistency rule. Advanced Qualified accounts have none by default. The new add-on gives Standard buyers a way to reach a similar setup without switching plans.
For traders who dislike the best-day restriction on payouts, this is a straightforward paid option. The monthly cost on top of the evaluation fee means it only makes sense if the flexibility is worth more than the extra outlay over the life of the account. Check the current pricing on Alpha Futures’ site before buying, as promotions can shift.
Our Take: Removing consistency only after you pass is a practical middle ground. It keeps the evaluation structured while giving Qualified traders more freedom on how they distribute profits. The extra monthly fee is the trade-off. If your edge produces occasional large days, the add-on removes one friction point on the path to a performance fee. If your trading is already smooth, the default 40% rule may be fine and cheaper.
