Apex Ends Affiliate Deal With Prop Firm Match Over Tracking Compliance

Apex Trader Funding has cut its affiliate relationship with Prop Firm Match, effective immediately. All tracking codes tied to the comparison site are disabled.

The firm posted the decision on its official X account on 30 October. It said the move followed a review of referral tracking practices and compliance with its Affiliate Marketing Agreement. Apex holds affiliates to standards on transparency, accurate referral attribution, and responsible marketing. Protecting the integrity of its program remains a priority.

The timing lines up with public questions about cookie stuffing on comparison platforms. One trader posted a video claiming Prop Firm Match redirects some clicks through affiliate links even when the user isn’t selecting a tracked offer. Prop Firm Match replied that it is looking into the questions and will share a full statement within 24 hours. For the broader picture, including archived code analysis and Lucid Trading’s subsequent exit, see our detailed follow-up on the affiliate redirect claims.

This is not the first time Apex has tightened its affiliate network. Earlier in 2026 the firm removed a large share of affiliates over marketing practices. Prop Firm Match remains one of the larger comparison sites in the space, so the split removes a common path for traders looking for Apex codes and side-by-side data. Recent Apex promotions, including the 90% off evaluations and Legacy BOGO that ran into 29 October, have operated independently of this partnership.

For traders, the practical effect is that any Prop Firm Match codes or links for Apex no longer work. Check Apex’s own site or other active affiliates for current promotions.

Our Take: Apex is drawing a harder line on how its brand gets promoted. When a large comparison site loses the relationship over tracking compliance, it signals that the firm is prioritizing control of attribution and marketing claims. Traders who rely on Prop Firm Match for discovery will need to go elsewhere for Apex-specific offers, but the evaluation and payout rules themselves are unchanged by this affiliate decision.

I’ve been trading for over 5 years, mainly across Indian markets, futures, forex, crypto, and CFDs. Over the years, I’ve traded with a lot of different brokers and prop firms and spent a huge amount of time testing their rules, platforms, pricing, drawdown models, payout systems, and trading conditions.

I’ve been through plenty of failed prop firm challenges myself before eventually figuring out what works for me. That experience has given me a pretty practical understanding of what traders actually deal with when choosing a prop firm or trading platform.

Outside of trading, I work with financial content, SEO, and WordPress. I’ve built websites and tools around trading and finance, tested a wide range of trading tools, and even modified Pine Script indicators on TradingView as a hobby.

I write about prop firms, brokers, crypto platforms, and trading tools with a focus on the things that actually matter to traders, including rules, costs, payouts, and the overall trading experience.
